Ability to choose deduplication preference order

The Dev Team is thrilled to bring you an update that many of you have been eagerly awaiting. Addressing the challenge of managing duplicate contacts, we've made significant improvements to ensure data accuracy and streamline your user experience.

1. Recognizing Duplicate Contacts:
Our system has always been adept at identifying duplicate contacts. For a vast majority (about 95%) of scenarios, our existing mechanism suffices since most users prefer to avoid duplicate entries. However, for those unique situations where duplicates might be intentional, we've introduced more flexibility.

2. Customizing Duplicate Checks:
Previously, our system would sequentially check unique identifiers, typically starting with an email and then a phone number. Now, we've expanded your options:

• Check by email, then phone.

• Check by email only.

• Check by phone, then email.

• Check by phone only.

This enhancement ensures that the system can adapt to various scenarios. For instance, if a contact submits a form with only a phone number but is already in your system with an email, our system will intelligently update the existing contact rather than creating a new one.

3. Streamlining Data Entry:
The goal is to minimize data redundancy and ensure that every contact in your system is accurate and up-to-date. By giving you more control over how duplicates are identified and managed, we're ensuring that you have the tools you need to maintain a clean and organized database.

4. Addressing Unique Scenarios:
We understand that every business has its unique needs and challenges. This update is designed to cater to those specific scenarios where standard duplicate checks might not suffice.
